The Head Forward method

Leadership growth creates the next opportunity.

Discover capability and barriers. Design a fair pathway. Develop people through real responsibility. Embed learning in everyday work. Multiply the impact as leaders develop others.

Head Forward Leadership Flywheel: Discover, Design, Develop, Embed, Multiply. Learning and evidence feed back into discovery.

Each cycle creates evidence to review: what improved, where opportunity still stalls and who is ready for the next responsibility. This is our approach to development, not a claim of guaranteed results.

For employers

Agree the starting point. Review the change.

We agree a small number of outcomes, record a baseline and review evidence from real work. The measures match the scope you purchase.

Start with evidence

Agree up to three outcomes, the evidence source, a responsible owner and a review date. These may cover applied leadership behaviour, opportunity access or a relevant business signal.

Review application

For an ongoing partnership, agree day 30 and day 60 check-ins and a day 90 review. Look at what people tried, what changed and what support remains.

Look further ahead

Review progression and retention at six months where the agreed scope, available data and group size permit. Report context and uncertainty rather than attributing every change to coaching.

Protect the coaching space

Sponsors receive agreed participation, actions and appropriately aggregated themes. Individual goals or progress are shared only under an explicit three-way agreement. Private session notes are not sponsor reports.

The focused Health Check includes its existing single 30-minute progress check-in. Additional reviews and ongoing coaching are separately scoped. No guaranteed promotion, retention saving or financial return.

How decisions are made

Ethical leadership must be practical.

Recommendations consider the evidence, the business impact and the human impact—not one in isolation.

01

Evidence

Separate facts, patterns and assumptions before acting.

02

Fairness

Test whether opportunity, expectations and consequences are applied consistently.

03

Impact

Consider people, performance, risk and long-term trust.

04

Accountability

Make ownership, decisions and next steps clear.
